The hotel is modern on the outside and traditional on the inside with parking to the rear. Our room was huge with a massive bay window which looked out over the tree lined street. The bathroom was spacious and had complimentary toiletries, fluffy towels and a good size shower. Our super king size bed was very comfortable and the Egyptian sheets were clean & soft. Tea & coffee making facilities and a good size tv. There is a restaurant and well stocked bar within the hotel and the menu suited all tastes, there was a children’s menu too. The food was fabulous, we had dinner from the curry menu and I highly recommend it. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The reception, front of house, bar team, restaurant team and chamber staff were so lovely. We will definitely be staying again, we travelled from Somerset with our two Staffordshire Bull Terriers as we were showing them over three days, they were made very welcome which always pleases us. Highly recommended.

The room was big and spacious, very clean and tidy with a beautiful bay window- the shower and bathroom were clean and exactly what we needed. The bed was huge and comfy no complaints there. The staff were absolutely delightful and gave us ideas of what to see in our flying visit. The food! Wow! Absolutely stunning hands down the best curry I have ever had - I had the salmon tikka and it was so fresh and bursting with flavour- the nans were melt in the mouth and everything about the meal was sensational! If you stay here - you must try the restaurant I was blown away!

The location was great for me, just off the main road to Bo'ness. The rooms were very big, which was pleasant. It was nice to have a sofa and table in the room, as well as the more usual tea and coffee facilities, etc. It was useful to be able to control the room temperature and to be able to open the window. The place was very peaceful and quiet, despite being next to a bar. And finally, the hotel owner gave me some very useful info about travelling back by public transport. (More useful in fact than the info I'd already been given by Traveline).

The property was very well maintained, rooms perfect value for the price we paid exactly what you need for a couple of nights and the decor was beautiful. Couldn’t find a fault at all. We had 2 rooms and also booked out the Private Dining Room with 3 course meal. When I say this was amazing, I mean it! The room was beautifully laid out and so private away from the main restaurant. Food was delicious really couldn’t complain about anything we were all very happy and would happily stay here again.

The room (Room 8) was clean, large in size and spacious. The tea tray was well stocked and there were complimentary shampoo and shower gels on offer too. The lady who checked me in was really nice and couldn’t do enough for me. There is a bar with sports tv and an Indian restaurant attached but not directly attached. You can take drinks to your room which is great 👍 I will stay here again when I’m next in the area.
